IDEST Blue Test Quadrant
The industry standard for Quality and confidence when Testing Cylinders. Blue quadrants are fitted to the cylinder neck close to the location of the last Test Stamp. They indicate the typo of the last inspection was a Periodic Inspection and Test or Hydra (H). The next inspection would normally be a Visual Inspection (V) but could, in certain circumstances, be a Hydraulic Test (H). This is indicated by whichever letter is still readable i.e. NOT PUNCHED OUT. The due Month and Year on the other hand is shown by the Year and Month that is PUNCHED OUT.
Punching out all other Month/Year to leave the Year and Month Readable would leave the Quadrant in Tatters!
These quadrants are only available to Certified IDEST test centres.
