Aqualung's most advanced semi-dry suit, with a dry zip, flexibility and environmentally friendly materials. Super fit seals greatly reduce water ingress at the neck, wrists and ankles. The inner material is soft to the touch, while the outer material is abrasion resistant and 7mm ultra-stretch neoprene provides a new level of warmth. The Iceland features a multi-panel neoprene design and pre-shaped anatomical arms and legs with improved Supratex knee pads, ensuring an exceptional fit with excellent freedom of movement. A large cargo pocket for easy storage and a hook for hanging hood round out the features.
A suit manufactured under the premise of being as respectful as possible with the environment:
- Water-based glues: Water-based laminating glue to eliminate volatile solvent compounds.
- Solution Dyed Yarns: Solution dyeing introduces color pigments into a molten plastic solution to produce colored yarns without the dyeing process. This saves huge amounts of water and reduces energy consumption and water pollution.
- Eco-friendly carbon black: Carbon black, one of the main components of neoprene, can be pyrolyzed using recycled car tires. This significantly reduces energy consumption, and CO2 emissions by 200g per suit.
- Ultra-Flexible Neoprene: Aqualung has innovated their own super-stretch neoprene material called AquaFlex. Used throughout the suit, our AquaFlex neoprene stretches three times more than standard neoprene and is available in our premium wetsuits.
